We recognize that all patients are concerned with exposure to radiation. We at Dr. Wanserski’s office are proud to say that we strive to use the most current technology in all aspects of the practice. One of the most recent advances is the use of Kodak Insight Dental Film. This film allows us to use ½ the exposure time that was required with film used in the past, which means less exposure to the patient. We also use lead aprons and thyroid collars when exposing radiographs to help limit exposure to other parts of the body.

In our office we recognize that the products that we recommend are not universally accepted by all patients. For this reason we offer a number of choices for electric and power toothbrushes. Our office stocks the Oral-B 3D, Sonicare and Crest Spinbrush to meet all of our patients needs. If you have questions about which is best for you please feel free to ask any of the staff.

Intraoral photography is an advancing technology that allows us to share with our patients what it is that we see when examining the mouth. The intraoral camera allows us to capture an image inside of the mouth and slightly magnify it to be presented on a TV screen as well as printing out a hard copy. This technology is especially useful for detecting fracture lines in teeth, and also for patient education with other types of treatment that may be recommended.
